America is proud to have the most powerful and well trained military in the world. Our men and women in the military have been used to protect this great country of ours, along with engaging in peace keeping missions overseas and operations of liberation.

The Nest believes our military was established to protect the United States of America and our allies from foreign threats. Today's threats of terror place additional responsibilities on our military, including the protection of our borders and seaports under our newly established Department of Homeland Security.

Military men and women deserve competitive pay, appropriate living conditions and respect. Clear and convincing evidence should precede any decision to send our military into combat. Our military protects us, and they deserve the same protection from our government.

The Nest strongly supports the United States' war on terrorism in Iraq because of the clear and present threat of Saddam Hussein to his people, our allies and the world.
